JoeJoe Keller

Ed Keller, my father, worked as an agent and began this business in 1972.  I started working with my dad in 1986 and, today, I represent the second generation helping over 3500 families protect their assets.

I am committed to you and will see to it that you get the best service possible at the Keller agency, where my staff has over 100 years of experience. I look forward to helping you protect the things that are important – your family, your home, your car, and your assets.  I can also help you prepare a strategy to achieve your financial goals and dreams.

My strength as a professional insurance advisor comes from 25 years experience taking care of customers and the knowledge I gained from my mentor, my father Ed. Having graduated from Del Norte high school and attending the University of New Mexico, Robert O. Anderson School of Business, Albuquerque and New Mexico are my life.

I have 9-year-old twins, JoJo and Lexi, and a 14-year-old daughter named Nikki. I am a very active father, staying involved in our community as well as being an active member for 15 years at Calvary Chapel.

Please feel free to call or stop by my office any time. The staff here is eager to meet you in person and is ready to address any questions or concerns you may have. We are located in Riverside Plaza, which is off of Coors Rd., just north of Montaño Blvd.

I would like to thank you for visiting this site and would love to have you in our family of customers.

AustinAustin McDaniel, MBA, CFP®

In 2003, I graduated cum laude with a Bachelors degree in finance and a minor in economics from the University of New Mexico.  In 2005, I earned an MBA from the Anderson Schools of Business Management (UNM) and graduated cum laude with a Masters degree in Accounting.  Additionally, in 2008, I completed the prestigious Certified Financial Planner™ designation.  Certified Financial Planners are held to the highest financial planning and ethical standards.

My career has been based on helping family’s understand and solve financial problems. I am passionate about helping families and I am excited to be part of the Keller Agency team.

My professional background includes working five years for a high profile local financial planning firm.  Where, I coordinated and implemented investment portfolio screening and reviews.  I was the financial quarter back for 80 high net worth clients.  I managed over 85 million in assets and serviced each client for complex planning solutions.  Also, in conjunction with the Investment Committee’s strategic analysis of portfolios, I ensured that each client’s portfolio was aligned with their respective goals.  Prior to working in financial planning, I worked for one of the largest mutual fund companies in the southwest.  At Thornburg Investment Management I analyzed and tracked performance of fixed and equity peer groups for both mutual funds and separate-account money managers. Previous to that he worked with an accounting firm in the area of business valuation analysis.

I have personally been touched by a parent who is terminally ill and understand how devastating improper planning can be on a family.  I chose the financial planning profession, because I believe that no family should be left with the inability to pay for a mountain of debt if something tragic should happen to a loved one.

Retirement has changed for many over the past year.  Some will have to work longer, while others will have to go back to work.  If you are in one of these situations, or nearing retirement and uncertain about your future, please schedule an appointment.

I am a strong believer in community involvement.   I am on the board of Cottonwood Classical Preparatory school and also volunteer at Casa Esperanza.  At Casa Esperanza, I serve food to cancer patients who cannot afford to stay in hotels or drive back to their out of town homes.
